DRC: Prophet Mulindwa Jules Blames Religious Leaders for the Country’s Crises

On Sunday, September 21, 2025, in the capital city Kinshasa, Prophet Mulindwa Jules openly blamed Congolese religious leaders for the tragic events currently happening in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This revolutionary prophet, well known as the visionary of the City of Refuge Church, has built his reputation through gospel messages that expose false doctrines and reveal long-hidden truths. Beyond his role as a preacher, Mulindwa Jules is also recognized as a patriot who not only teaches faith but also instills values of responsible citizenship and genuine love for the nation.

In many of his sermons, he strongly denounces calls for protests against government authorities, an approach that, according to him, many pastors have irresponsibly adopted by urging their congregations to march in the streets.

“No one will see heaven if they live in disobedience to authority, because every authority comes from God,” he often declares, quoting Romans 13:1–2.

He even goes further, stating that no political opponent will enter heaven, arguing that Satan himself was the first to oppose authority, and that his rebellion ended in downfall.

As the DRC faces serious hardships and crises, Prophet Mulindwa this Sunday laid blame on pastors, claiming they are the root cause of national misfortunes.

“The ones responsible for this crisis are those false servants of God. The day they all gathered in the stadium to pray for the president at his inauguration, what followed was Covid-19. Soon after, Bunagana fell into the hands of the enemy. Ever since they laid their hands on him, problems have multiplied in the country,” said the prophet.

Mulindwa Jules condemned the act of asking the Head of State to kneel for prayer, calling it sabotage. Since then, he has taught repeatedly that no one has the right to make a president kneel, not even for prayer.

“Even a true prophet, if sent by God to anoint a king, has no right to ask him to kneel. The president is the number one authority given to us by God to rule. He cannot kneel down, especially in a country overrun with false men of God,” he stressed.

He also referred to a recent political event, expressing satisfaction with the appointment of Constant Mutamba as Minister of Justice, seeing it as a sign of trust in the youth. However, Mulindwa immediately warned the young minister against socializing with pastors, cautioning that doing so could attract curses, since, in his view, none of them are truly sent by God.
Sadly, Mutamba ignored this warning and was later prosecuted for embezzlement.

“One good person cannot walk with a bad one,” the prophet emphasized, quoting Amos 3:3.

Prophet Mulindwa concluded by citing several cases of officials who, after receiving prayers from false prophets, eventually lost their positions.
