DRC: Prophet Mulindwa Jules Declares that All Saints’ Day is Demonic

In his recent sermon, Prophet Mulindwa Jules, the visionary and spiritual leader of the City of Refuge Church, addressed a very delicate topic concerning the month of November, which in the Catholic tradition is dedicated to praying for the dead.

The prophet openly stated that this tradition aligns with the realm of darkness and causes more harm than good.

Before diving into the topic, the prophet recalled a passage from a well-known Catholic prayer where believers ask the Virgin Mary to intercede for them: “Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.”

Prophet Mulindwa Jules emphasized that Mary was a human being who received grace like anyone else. As proof, he mentioned that she also died, and there is no verse in the Bible that instructs believers to pray to her.

He added that this practice is not limited to Mary. In the Catholic Church, people also ask other saints to intercede for them. For example, after a pope or cardinal dies, they may be considered holy, and Christians begin to include their names in prayers, asking them to intercede. The prophet described this as foolish, if not demonic.

To illustrate his point, he asked a rhetorical question:

“When someone dies, between the corpse and you who are alive, who goes to bury the other? Can a living person expect the corpse to help with chores? How then can you, the living, ask the dead to intercede for you?”

Out of curiosity, I personally interviewed some Catholic believers. They explained that in the Catholic Church, the month of November is traditionally dedicated to praying for the souls of the faithful departed, those who have died.

On November 1st, Catholics celebrate All Saints’ Day, a holy day of obligation that honors all the saints, not only those who have been canonized, but also unknown dead people. It’s a joyful celebration of the Church’s belief in the communion of saints, the unity between believers on earth, souls in purgatory, and saints in heaven.

However, for Prophet Mulindwa Jules, this is merely a human doctrine that goes against God’s Word and even common sense. He insisted that there is no relationship between the living and the dead.

He quoted Ecclesiastes 9:4–6:

“There is hope only for the living. As they say, it’s better to be a live dog than a dead lion. The living at least know they will die, but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward, nor are they remembered. Whatever they did in their lifetime — loving, hating, envying — is all gone. They no longer play a part in anything here on earth.”

On November 2nd, Catholics observe All Souls’ Day, dedicated to praying for the faithful departed who are believed to be in purgatory, being purified before entering heaven. The central belief is that praying for them helps their souls reach full union with God. The Church extends this spirit throughout the entire month of November.

However, Prophet Mulindwa Jules argued that, whether people pray for the dead or to the dead (saints), both practices are unbiblical. He insisted that true believers should not participate in such rituals. “There is no forgiveness after death. Only good deeds during one’s lifetime can rescue a soul,” he said.

A Divine Revelation That Saves Lives

According to Prophet Mulindwa Jules, the last two months of the year are marked by intense demonic activity. He has repeatedly warned people about the Catholic tradition of dedicating November to the souls of the dead.

With his frank and straightforward speech, the prophet doesn’t hesitate to describe these rituals as demonic, pointing to the increase in deaths during this period, whether by accidents or illnesses.

To counter this, Mulindwa Jules established the practice of entering a new spiritual year every November, before the civil year ends. He says this is done to protect people from the spiritual effects of November rituals, as he believes that any attempt to connect with the dead is dangerous.

He explained:

“In today’s world, many people die too young, before fulfilling their destiny or enjoying the life God prepared for them. Any prayer addressed to them can awaken their spirits, causing them to seek revenge or attack those still alive, whether in marriage, work, or other areas.”

The beginning of November thus marks not only the start of a new spiritual year in the City of Refuge Church, but also the day on which Prophet Mulindwa Jules announces the prophecy for the coming year.
