Rwanda: Sifa Za Kristo Releases a New Single

The choir Sifa Za Kristo (Christ’s Praises) of City of Refuge Church Gisenyi, Rwanda, has released a new single titled “Twaratoranyijwe na Kristo w’Urwanda uhoraho”, which translates to “We Have Been Chosen by the Living Christ of Rwanda.”

Inspired by the teachings of Prophet Mulindwa Jules, this song carries a powerful message of redemption and salvation.

Why “the Living Christ of Rwanda”?

The revolutionary gospel preached by Prophet Mulindwa Jules through the City of Refuge Church has challenged traditional beliefs about Christ’s identity and presence.

While many churches continue to refer to the son of God as “Christ of Nazareth,” Prophet Mulindwa teaches that Christ is omnipresent, and thus, believers should call upon Him according to their own nation.

“Christ is the Son of God. And according to John 1:12, whoever receives Him gains the power to become a child of God. If Christ is the Son of God and you have received Him, then you are a child of God; meaning Christ is your elder brother. You should therefore call Him by your nationality,” teaches Prophet Mulindwa Jules.

When the City of Refuge Church began 16 years ago in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Prophet Mulindwa taught his congregation to pray in the name of “the Living Christ of Congo.”
This message sparked debate and even controversy, as some religious leaders accused him of preaching a different God.
Yet, the Prophet remained steadfast, affirming that Christ is omnipresent and not limited to Nazareth.

Today, the City of Refuge Church has expanded beyond borders, and in every nation where it is established, believers invoke the name of Christ according to their country, not to replace His divine identity, but to affirm His presence among them.
In Congo, He is the Living Christ of Congo; in Rwanda, the Living Christ of Rwanda; and likewise in Burundi, Tanzania, Congo-Brazzaville, Canada, and many other nations.

A Song of Transformation and Faith

In their new single, members of Sifa Za Kristo testify to the transformation they’ve experienced after encountering the true and living God preached by Prophet Mulindwa Jules.

“Complaints no longer exist, and doubts are no longer our language since we became God’s chosen,” they sing.

The song is not just music, it’s a call to faith, inviting those still struggling to seek the omnipresent Christ, the one who can turn their lives around.
