Tshopo: Prophet Mulindwa Jules Donates 10 Million Francs for Kisangani Prisoners

Provincial authorities in Kisangani have received a financial contribution of 10 million Congolese francs, intended to support food supplies for inmates in the city’s detention facilities. The donation was delivered on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, on behalf of Prophet Dr. Mulindwa Jules, through his representative, Apostle Fabrice Ushindi.

Officials indicated that the funds would be directed towards improving daily meal provisions for prisoners, a group often facing difficult living conditions due to limited resources.

The contribution follows the Prophet’s recent visit to Kisangani, where he spent approximately two weeks leading an evangelical outreach program. The mission combined religious teachings with messages encouraging civic responsibility and national awareness, drawing significant public attention.

After leaving Kisangani, he continued his engagements in Bunia and later in Butembo, as part of a broader tour across the country. Large crowds have been reported at each stage, underlining his growing visibility beyond strictly religious circles.

Analysts say such initiatives reflect an increasing involvement of faith leaders in social and humanitarian issues. In a country where public services often face challenges, these contributions are seen by some as filling critical gaps, particularly for vulnerable populations such as prisoners.
